SELECTED as one of Denver's "HEAVY HITTERS IN REAL ESTATE" by "The Denver Business Journal" Richard has been in commercial real estate since 1973 and has experience in brokerage, leasing, management, analysis and development.  Over those years he was employed by some of the countries premier real estate firms such as Trammell Crow, the Galbreath Company, Great Northern Real Estate, TLC Development, and Jordon Perlmutter and Company (formerly Perlmack) and since 1996 by EGG Commercial Real Estate, his own firm. In addition to training and experience received while working for these fine firms, Mr. Thal holds a CCIM designation which is awarded to professionals who have completed 240 hours of graduate level courses in financial analysis, commercial brokerage, market analysis, demographic analysis, advanced marketing techniques, tax planning, managing and marketing troubled real estate, decision analysis, negotiations, among others, and has also fulfilled professional experience requirements. Of the estimated 80,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide, only 4,500 hold the CCIM designation.

Richard has represented a multitude of regional and national firms in acquisition, tenant representation, build-to-suit, and disposition of real estate in over 200 transactions valued in excess of $200,000,000. He has represented small investors to national firms. He has listed and sold small freestanding retail properties, industrial properties, shopping centers, as well as several significant office properties in West Denver, South Suburban Denver, The Denver Technology Center and Denver's Central Business District.  Mr. Thal holds a BS degree in Engineering from North Carolina State University and has completed numerous professional graduate level courses. He is a member of several professional organizations including the Colorado/Wyoming chapter of CCIM.
